Xend Finance: Understanding the User Interface (UI)

Sequel to the last article on frequently asked questions about the Binance backed DeFi credit protocol; Xend finance, this article will be exploring the Xend finance user interface(UI) in other to define the basic elements of the user interface (UI) so as to aid user understanding and usage of the platform.

THE MAIN DASHBOARD

This is the main page through which you can access other features of the Xend finance protocol. The basic elements on the dashboard are defined below as numbered on the image that follows:

A. Personal:

On the dashboard, clicking on Personal takes you to your personal savings dashboard where all information pertaining to your personal savings on Xend finance is contained.

B. Esusu:

Clicking on this takes you to your esusu savings dashboard where all information concerning your esusu savings operations are contained.

C. Cooperative Savings:

Clicking on this takes you to your cooperative savings dashboard which contains all the information about your cooperative savings operation

D. Help:

This takes you to documents prepared by the Xend finance team which can help you get started with setup and performing savings operations on Xend finance.

E. Estimated Portfolio Value:

This shows you the total value of all your savings operation made up of Personal savings, Esusu and cooperative savings operations you are part of.

F. Total Xend Token:

This shows the total Xend tokens you earned as reward for performing different savings operation on Xend Finance.

G. Esusu:

This shows a summary of your Esusu operations on Xend Finance.

H. Cooperative Savings:

This shows a summary of your cooperative savings operations.

I. Personal:

This shows a summary of your personal savings operation on Xend Finance.

PERSONAL DASHBOARD

On the personal dashboard, all the information relating to your personal savings operations on Xend finance are reflected. The elements there include:

1. BUSD

The stable coin used for performing different savings and investment operations on Xend Finance.

2. BUSD APY

APY means annual percentage yield. It is your expected return on investment (ROI) for carrying out a personal savings operation on Xend Finance. It is projected to be up to 15% per annum.

3. Savings Balance:

This shows your personal savings balance plus interest earned.

4. Wallet Balance:

This shows the balance of BUSD you have in your wallet which you can use to perform further savings and investment operation.

5. This shows your share balance available for withdrawal and your total savings plus interest earned.

6. This is your total wallet balance.

7. Withdrawal Value box which displays the amount to be withdrawn from your share balance when you initiate a withdrawal operation.

8. Savings Value box which displays the amount you want to save when you initiate a savings operation.

9. ‘Withdraw’ tab:

Click it to initiate your withdrawal from your share balance.

10. ‘Save’ Tab:

Click on it to initiate a personal savings operation.

11. Share Balance:

This is your withdrawable amount.

ESUSU DASHBOARD

This contains all information pertaining to your esusu savings operation. The elements include:

1. My Esusu Groups:

Click it to view all the Esusu groups you created and there details.

2. Contributions:

Click it to view all the Esusu cycles you are part of.

3. Esusu Cycles:

Displays all the esusu cycles created on the Xend finance smart contract protocol.

When you click on ‘My Esusu groups’, the dashboard below is displayed. The elements on the dashboard are defined below:

4. ‘Back’ tab:

Takes you back to the main Esusu dashboard.

5. Create new Esusu Group:

Click it to create a new Esusu group.

6. My Esusu Groups:

Lists all the esusu groups already created by the user.

7. ‘Open’ Tab:

Having selelcted an esusu group, click on the ‘open’ tab to view the details of that esusu group and the esusu cycles created by the user under it. When you click on the ‘open’ the dashboard below is displayed. The elements of the dashboard are described below:

8. Create new Cycle:

Click on it to create a new esusu cycle under the opened esusu group.

9. ‘Back’ Tab:

Takes you back to ‘my esusu group’ dashboard.

10. Share Cycle:

Contains shareable link which you can use to invite people to join the esusu cycle you created.

11. List of all Esusu cycles created under the selected esusu group.

12. ‘Open’ Tab:

Click on it to see the details of the selected esusu cycle. When you click on the ‘open’ tab, the dashboard below is displayed. The elements in the dashboard are described below:

13. Payout Interval:

The time interval it takes to pay ROI to every member of the esusu cycle till each member is paid. After the last member is paid, the esusu cycle ends.

14. Estimated APY:

APY Means Annual Percentage Yield. It is your expected return on investment(ROI) on your esusu savings operation.

15. Start Time:

When the esusu cycle will begin.

16. No of slots:

Maximum number of members to join the esusu cycle.

17. Contribution Amount:

The amount every member of the esusu cycle is expected to contribute.

18. Total withdrawable Amount:

The maximum amount you can withdraw from the esusu cycle.

19. Available balance:

Balance in your wallet which you can use to perform further savings and investment operation.

20. Payout date:

The date you ROI will be due for withdrawal.

21. Value box:

Displays amount to be withdrawn when you initiate a withdrawal operation.

22. ‘Withdraw ROI’ Tab:

Click on it to withdraw your ROI when it is due after which you can be able to withdraw your capital at the termination of the esusu cycle.

23. Status:

Shows the status of the esusu cycle whether it is ‘pending’, ‘active’ or ‘in progress’.

24. Displays the name of the selected esusu cycle.

25. Share cycle:

Shareable link which you can use to invite people to join the esusu cycle.

On the main esusu dashboard, when you click on ‘My contributions’, the dashboard below will be displayed with the following information:

26. Created by me:

Lists all the esusu cycles you createdand are part of.

27. Pending:

Displays all esusu cycles which you are part of that are yet to start.

28. In progress:

Displays all the esusu cycles you are part of which are in progress.

29. Completed:

Displays all the esusu cycles you were part of but have now ended.

COOPERATIVES SAVINGS DASHBOARD:

This contains all information pertaining to your cooperative savings operation. The elements include:

30. My Cooperative:

Displays all cooperative savings group you created and their details.

31. Contributions:

Click on it to view all the cooperative savings cycle you are part of.

32. A list of all the cooperative savings cycles created on the Xend finance smart contract protocol.

When you click on ‘My cooperatives’ the dashboard below is displayed with the following contents which are described below:

33. My cooperative groups:

A list of cooperative groups already created by the user.

34. ‘Create a New Cooperative Group’ tab:

Click on it to create a new cooperative group.

35. ‘Open’ tab:

Click the ‘open’ tab of a selected cooperative savings group to view the cooperative savings cycle you created under it.

When you click the ‘open’ tab, the dashboard below will be displayed with the following details:

36. ‘Create cooperative savings cycle’ Tab:

Click on it to create a new cooperative cycle.

37. A list of all cooperative savings cycles created under the selected cooperative savings group.

38. ‘Open’ Tab:

Click on it to see the details of a selected cooperative savings cycle.

39. Share Cycle:

Contains Shareable link which you can use to invite people to join the cooperative savings cycle.

On the cooperative saving main dashboard, when you click on ‘Contributions’ tab, the dashboard below will be displayed with the following contents which are described below:

40. My Cooperative Cycle Contribution:

A list of cooperative cycles you are part of.

41. Pending:

Shows cooperative cycles you are part of but are yet to commence.

42. In progress:

Shows cooperative cycles you are part of that are currently in progress.

43. Completed:

Shows cooperative cycles you are part of that have been successfully completed.

44. ‘View’ tab:

Click on it to see the details of a selected cooperative savings cycle.
